Cary Area Emergency Medical Services will be conducting its 9th Citizens’ Academy beginning April 7, 2016 and runs Thursdays until April 28, 2016. This four-week educational program will provide an introduction to emergency medical services in an interactive environment. Instructors, all professional staff members with Cary Area EMS, will teach practical sessions about EMS and what function EMS plays in today’s society. Participants will participate in hands-on classes, learn CPR, tour a 911 communication center and observe on an Ambulance for a shift. For more information and application click here.
The 2016 dates for the Academy are April 7, 14, 21, 28 and the class times are 6:30pm-10:30pm.
