Cary EMS Staff Members Featured in National Film

We save lives everyday and most days that goes unnoticed. When you work in public safety, in particular EMS, you certainly do not do it for recognition or thank yous. Marion Houle, paramedic and District Chief, and Greg Edwards, paramedic, both with Cary EMS know first hand the power of connection and having a hand in changing a life….forever.

From director John Scheinfield, the film tells several wonderful stories how I Hope You Dance positively inspired people to impact the world around them. The film showcases a young woman whose organ donations created a movement through the people she helped, a homeless shelter teaching its residents how to be confident in life through ballroom dancing, and a woman who almost lost her life in a tragic accident but held onto faith with the help of this song.

I Hope You Dance: the Power and Spirit of Song encourages viewers to give faith a fighting chance, and when you can, just dance! We are proud of Marion and Greg, not for doing their job on that life changing day, but for being beacons of hope and inspiration.
