Autism Awareness Program

Cary Area Emergency Medical Services launched a new community outreach program in May of 2017. It is an Autism Awareness Program for providers. We created stickers to provide to the public. With greater awareness, these stickers can help alert EMS, Fire and Police responders that they may encounter a patient with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) when responding to a call.

These stickers are available at no charge on all of our ambulances and at our main station at 107 Medcon Court, Cary NC. We hope these stickers will be placed in visible spots like windows, bedroom and front doors to aid first responders as needed.
