Learning CPR can literally save a life. Statistics indicate that 70%-80% of cardiac arrest cases occur either in the home or at public places. Cary Area EMS is always ready to respond. When the 911 call comes in, we head out and are there to help those in need. In 2017 we had over 18,000 calls for service in the greater Wake County area. Our busiest months were January and May. Cary Area EMS operates 5 advanced life support ambulances and a supervisor as a part of an integrated EMS response system.
